The Southeast Uplift Board of Directors awarded the Moreland Farmers Market funds through the Office of Neighborhood Involvement’s Neighborhood Small Grants Program, at the board meeting on January 7, 2008. Funds were requested to support and expand the reach of opening and closing day events at the Moreland Farmers Market, where neighbors can come together to meet each other and enjoy local and sustainable foods. The farmers market will be reaching out to surrounding neighborhood associations offering them a platform for outreach regarding neighborhood activities. Thank you SEUL!
