[headertop]Payment Methods[/headertop]
At the Moreland Farmers Market, we welcome cash, debit cards, SNAP (Oregon Trail Card) and FDNP vouchers. All vendors will accept cash. See below for detailed information on the listed types of payment.
Debit Cards
Debit card users should go to the Market Information Booth to swipe their debit cards in exchange for tokens in $5 increments; change will be given by vendors when these tokens are used at their stands for purchases less than $5 just as with cash. All vendors will accept the tokens. Debit card users will be charged a one time fee for the service at the information booth.
EBT/SNAP (Oregon Trail Card):
SNAP users can also use their cards at the market by going to the Information Booth to swipe their cards in exchange for $1 tokens; no change is given by vendors for purchases less than $1, though if need be, the market will credit your SNAP account. The market currently has a $5 matching program that allows SNAP users $5 in free tokens for the first $5 they withdraw from their card. Just visit the Information Booth on market day to take advantage of this great offer. There is no fee to transfer your SNAP benefits to market tokens, but those tokens must be used with vendors only to purchase SNAP eligible items. You can find out more at the
SNAP/Oregon Trail Card Website.
Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP)
FDNP checks are to be spent directly with authorized farmers who sell their own produce at the farmers market. They are specifically for locally-produced fresh, unprocessed fruit and vegetables. The FDNP checks are good from June 1st through October 31st of the current year. You can find out more information at
Oregon's Farm Direct Nutrition Program.

[headertop]Styrofoam Recycling[/headertop]
Once a month,
Wallace Books saves us all time, effort, gasoline, and money in keeping our styrofoam-borne toxins out of the soil. Bring your clean block styrofoam to the market and Wallace Books will transport it to the recycling center for you.
Styrofoam Recycling takes place the last Wednesday of every month. Just look for the U-Haul at the north side of the Market
[headertop]Dog Policy[/headertop]

We just ask that you review and adhere to our market dog guidelines so that everyone can have a safe and pleasant time at the market.
