The Moreland Farmers Market is looking to expand its board of directors.
We are seeking people who have a strong sense of community and a strong belief in the importance of Oregon’s small farms.
Ideal candidates will have a vested interest in the success of the Moreland Farmers Market, be it as a market shopper, local business owner, neighborhood advocate, or similar.
In addition to attending monthly meetings and shaping the market’s long-term goals, board members actively participate in a variety of hands-on roles including fundraising, event organization, overseeing policies, and on-site support.
A background in one or any of the following is desirable, but not mandatory: marketing, business development, fundraising, food policy, or the world of non-profits.
The volunteer board currently meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month throughout the year.
